Dec 13, 2007 | I My Life | 556 ViewsAnother wonderful night of studying is upon us, accounting this time around. The exam is only at 3:30pm tomorrow afternoon which is a million time better than the other four 8am starts that I got stuck with. I don’t this exam is going to overly hard as long as I study enough of the right material. Our prof. gave us a lot of information as to what to expect from the exam so using that in preparing will be greatly helpful.
I’m not to sure if I mentioned this already but my schedule for next semester is looking a lot more encouraging than the one this semester. From the looks of it I will not be having class on Friday or Monday (can someone say 4 day weekend every week?) and only one night class as opposed to the four I got stuck with this semester. For anyone who has never made a university schedule, or college for that matter, I would highly recommend that you don’t take the night class approach as you will end up hating yourself for it very quickly. You may think that getting up later in the day is the greatest thing ever but the novelty wears off pretty quick and you just end up feeling useless haha.
Unfortunately for me the funds have been running short as of late and I’m not forced to find another source of income. I have a nice check from Adbrite waiting for me whenever I get home for the holidays but I imagine a lot of that will be gone by the end of the holidays. I’ve been trying not to rely on the parents for money this year as they are already paying enough for me. So far it has gone well. I’ve only had to get money from them once and just enough to hold me over till my next payment came through. My current sources of income are Adbrite and PayPopUp. These two sites are currently serving ads on my nature wallpapers site. Advertising provides a nice steady stream of income but the amount is very small (usually around $3.50 / day). I am in the process of working on a couple of different projects that will hopefully allow me to add a couple of zero’s to that amount in the near future.
and here’s something to think about….
