Well only six days after buying my Rapidshare account it seems like they have run into a little trouble with the law. From what I’ve been able to gather from a couple of sites (here, here, here) it seems like a court order has forced the servers offline for the time being. There has not yet been a formal release about the situation but one is expected soon.
As of 19 January 2008 16:00 GMT, Rapidshare’s servers appear to be offline. There are rumors that Rapidshare has been shut down by the authorities after a court order, however, court records do not reveal any issued Rapidshare court order as of yet. Rapidshare technician Steven Gircham has commented on this issue - “There are rumors concerning attacks made on the Rapidshare.com servers. There are also rumors that Rapidshare has been shut down by a court order. These rumors are false. We would like to apologize to our users and inform them that no data has been lost. There have been some hardware issues as a result of high bandwidth and server overload. We are doing our very best to resolve the hardware issues, and users should expect uptime by midnight tonight (GMT)”
Just when I thought I had found the greatest way to download content on the web, it gets shut down. I’m hoping that I won’t be forced back into the world of torrents as they have not given me much luck this year in res.
Update: It looks like Rapidshare.com is back up and operational. I’ll post anything more if they release a statement.
Truth is generally not a commodity. So it generally isn’t told. If it were, then we would not have to try and read between the lines and do our best to find it. We have been lied to so much that most of our lives have been based on deception. It is a very sad thing to have to acknowledge as this makes it difficult to have a reference point for our believe basis.
This limits us to the truth in our immediate surroundings, which is a sounder approach with out losing our mind in the struggle to attain the truth beyond our control. It is no wonder, that we can not believe the government or the mass media and newspapers. Which leaves us with independent sources for our information? As the world is power and profit driven and has been for as long as history has been recorded and even before. It is with technology and the internet that we are able to research this information. How long this information will be available depends on all of us. As they don’t want us to know the truth or be able to figure it out. This does impose a threat to those in control as their power could come crumbling down.
It is so obvious what they are doing and how so many people are either deceived by it or do not want to know as the fear of the truth being out there scares the hell out of them. Not that I blame them, however it will come out and better now than later. Face it head on, look it in the eye as they will kill us anyway if they accomplish their mission of a one world order. Just like they killed so many on 9/11 in their false flag operation. You can’t trust these people. Their facade is up….
Those of you who serve and work for them, don’t think for a minute you are safe or will not be killed as you are just a pawn. Like the good men and women who have died in our recent wars believing they were fighting for truth and liberty. It is a sad day for America. As many in the world know or suspect the truth about our leaders.

Well it looks like the little war game I mentioned yesterday has again taken another swing at bat. Check out this article (Iran: Bush’s Tonkin Gulf Tale Unravels). I guess I was headed in the right direction with the similarities. I’m very interested in how this will play out.
Your not going to go into Iran this easily (or at all) Mr. Bush. No no. People can come together now, we don’t have to put up with this garbage any longer.
So it seems like some of my assumptions about the release of the Iranian speed boats video are coming into existence (here and here too). This situation feels eerily similar to the way the United States entered the Vietnam war in 1964. The Gulf of Tonkin incident involved the apparent attack by Vietnam forces on the U.S.S Maddox while it was gathering intelligence in the area. With all the talk about the U.S going into and attacking Iran, this seems way to similar to be a coincidence. Do some research and you will soon see that what you have been hearing on the news and in the media simply isn’t true.
Made the trip back to Oshawa on Monday and started second semester today. I’m glad to be back to see everyone and its nice to come back to a fresh new semester. Just a couple of things about things.
I’ve removed most of the paid posts that I had written for the site a couple of months ago for PayPerPost. I have not used PPP in the last couple of months and have no intention on beginning these paid posts once again.
I recently purchased a 500gb external harddrive to replace the one that died on me during first semester. I have yet to really test it out but the metal protective case and better name (Comstar) make me think I will have a better experience this time around. I also like the laid down approach as opposed to the vertically standing as this is how both my previous hard drives broke, by falling over.
The New Hampshire primiaries were tonight and it seems like McCain is going to be taking it for the Republicans while Hillary and Obama battle it out for the Democratic side. Ron Paul looks like he will finish with between 8-10% support. Beating Guiliani would be bittersweet. Here is Dr. Paul on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
