Brothers birthday today on this 29th of October. Unfortunately hes stuck working tonight so hopefully he will be able to celebrate this weekend. He’s yet to come up and visit me in Oshawa but I think its more of an issue of the parents letting him come up lol.

Most of my midterms and due assignments/reports are not finished up and now theres not nearly as much to worry about. Accounting assignment on Thursday then I think two midterms next week.

I have not decided what I’m going to fill my next couple of days with but hopefully its something productive and exciting in terms of the website. I hope to turn over money by the week rather than by the month but not to sure how I’m going to go about doing that just about now.

Endgame Blueprint For Global Enslavement - Alex Jones

This video might just actually change the way people view the United States, the world, and how it is being controlled. Zeitgeist touched on this subject in the third part of the movie but this movie blows the whole situation wide open. Think what you will but take the time to watch it and then past judgment. Spread the word via Facebook, e-mail, MSN or simply by telling people.

This is Alex Jones’ best film thus far and I believe it has the power to shift public opinion towards the truth. The movie talks about a multitude of different topics ranging from the New World World to eugenics to world domination. To really understand the issue its key to watch the movie a couple of times so enjoy!

The first wave of midterms are now done with accounting this morning at ten. It was pretty brutal waking up at 7, don’t think I’ve seen that early in a long time. Plan on just relaxing tonight and watching the hockey game then maybe heading over to Warrens to do some drinking with Gabby. His sister is down so it would be cool to meet her. The Sens are up a tough New Jersey Devils team tonight but hopefully they will be able to come out strong after a week off. Their record is a promising 8-1 compared to the weaker 3-5 of the Devils. Game is on at 7pm but unfortunately being in the Toronto area pretty much prevents any Ottawa games from being televised.

Another night, another class. Stuck in Financial Accounting till ten tonight. He gave us a little background as to what to expect from the midterm so that should help quite a bit in figuring out which material to study and which to not. Accounting has not been one of my favorite classes but I have done quite well at it in the past. A lot of the accounting that we are doing right now involves analyzing companies and case reports and coming to conclusions on how they can repair the problem but forward.

Got a bottle of vodka that I am thinking about getting into tonight but not to sure if thats a good idea with a midterm on Saturday. If I do, I will probably only have a couple then call it a night. Going to try again with the ‘get addicted to something then next do it again’ task and from the looks of things its going to be pretty difficult. Things got a lot easier today when a particular device was taken out of mine and Brett’s possession. I’ll post tomorrow how things are going.

Another day, another midterm. Didn’t end up studying much last night but from the looks of it the midterm isn’t going to be all that difficult. Its open textbook so as long as I know where all the theories and concepts are (and understand them) I should be good to go. The first part is short answer questions on the theories and concepts and the second part is answering questions from a case.

Its going to be well into November before I will be able to do anything involving spending money. I still don’t want to tap into my AdBrite money so PayPerPost is going to have to cut it for the time being. I wish I had the resources to begin starting a company of some sort but I really have nothing on the drawing board anyways. I think I’ve been spending too much time trying to make small profits and haven’t thought about the bigger picture and aim for more automation.

Should stop screwing around on the net and get down to some studying…

Finished up my marketing midterm in a little over an hour. 50 multiple choice that was pretty easy to breeze through. I didn’t want to go back to much thinking I would change some of my answers but luckily I did as I found a couple of mistakes in copying my answer of to the scantron card. I would prefer if they just had the tests on our laptops so we can receive our results right away. I don’t really see a reason not to have it like that.

I’m really enjoying my iPod touch. I’ve yet to hack it as I don’t have enough time to go through the 70 odd steps. Is there an easier hack out there? I’ve yet to really throw all my videos on it as they need to converted for the ipod. I’ve watched a ton of video podcasts and music videos and its been great. The touch screen is a little different to get used to but once ya get the hang of it its really easy and quick.

I’ve got a nice sum of money to pay on the credit card now that I was forced to buy a bunch of textbooks and online ebooks for my midterms. I wasn’t really expecting that so we’ll have to find a solution for that haha. Not to worried but unfortunately not much partying for a while.

Gonna try and look at Organizational Behavior tonight but its hard to look at similar stuff when you just finished studying it all day.

The past three days have been the most fun I’ve had in a LONG time. Sick 2 nights in Toronto (Piccadilly Circus and Republik <- not a white club haha) and another kick ass night in res with the bois!

Purchased myself an iPod Touch (8gb) on my first visit to the Apple Store! Oh if I only had $10,000. I got to experience COMPLETE silence whenever I slapped on a pair of $500 Bose headphones, nothing really compares. I’m going to try and organize as many photos as I can but for now these are some of the ones I pulled off Facebook.

Last night has to be added to the list of hilarious nights. 22 Phone books, 24 beers and a roommate that thinks he is dropping out. Haha. Oh the possibilities.

Information R/evolution

This video explores the changes in the way we find, store, create, critique, and share information. This video was created as a conversation starter, and works especially well when brainstorming with people about the near future and the skills needed in order to harness, evaluate, and create information effectively.

Created by Michael Wesch in collaboration with 200 students at Kansas State University.

These are two of the most interesting videos that I came across today.

Well about 2 hours till I write my finance midterm and pretty confident that it will go well. We are allowed a cheat sheet and the entire thing is multiple choice/true and false. I have an accounting assignment due tomorrow and three midterms next week, I’m looking forward to next weekend. I hope to soon pick up these speakers because the Bose I had talked about before were not really what I wanted for the price. Here are a couple of stories to fill your time.

“Second Earth” found–20 lightyears away!
Scientists have discovered a warm and rocky “second Earth” circling a star, a find they believe dramatically boosts the prospects that we are not alone.

Pretty productive day today. Was able to get a lot of the school that I have been putting off done so now I’m able to concentrate more on the midterms that I have coming up next week. I can imagine there will be many late night study sessions. I have marketing on Monday which should go well considering it is one of my favorite subjects this semester. On Tuesday I have Organizational Behaviour and Accounting on Saturday to top it all off.

Here are a couple of stories and video that I dugg today.

Bush planted fake news on American TV
Federal authorities are actively investigating dozens of American television stations for broadcasting items produced by the Bush administration and major corporations, and passing them off as normal news. Some of the fake news segments…

Sites that make FireFox Sad
The following is a list of sites that actively block browsers other than Internet Explorer or have some serious problem that prevents the site from being usable in Firefox….Come on people! Its 2007 already, NOT 1997! Get with this century! There is no excuse for these kinds of sites!

BitTorrent: Bypass any Firewall or Throttling ISP with SSH
